COMPANY SLOGAN
Sierra Utility Billing Services, a provider of utility billing services to apartment communities across the nation, offers the highest level of service in the industry. We currently offer billing services for water, sewer, gas, and trash. Our proprietary billing software performs allocated billing utilizing a variety of RUBS (Ratio Utility Billing System) formulas. Bills are calculated using a combination of square footage, occupancy levels, or other factors. Residents receive a portion of the entire community's bill reflecting their ratio of consumption and cost compared to the community as a whole. |

Reporting Options
To make your RUBS program most efficient, Sierra Utility Billing Services provides each community with a variety of valuable reports each month. Our proprietary software system generates easy-to-read reports that will keep you and your management team informed, assist your employees in answering tenant inquiries, and ensure that your community is in compliance with state law. Billing Service Statement A simple, easy-to-understand statement of your account's monthly activities, including monthly billing fees that were charged to your property, remittance totals, and any outstanding charges to your residents. Actual Billing Report Once we complete your first billing cycle, your property will receive a report detailing the amount that each unit was charged for the month. This report will be helpful in answering resident billing inquiries. Potential Billing Report This report projects the amount every occupied unit would have been billed during the consumption period regardless of their billing status. This serves as a valuable leasing tool enabling the staff to project an accurate bill range for perspective tenants. Historic Theoretical Report Each new property will receive a report that takes utility bill amounts from the past 12 months and applies them to today's occupancy numbers. This data can be used to estimate Average, High, and Low bills for tenants signing Addendums. More Reports |
